Using the converter
This independent tool prepares paired image and video files in your browser. The current version is free to use, requires no account, and adds no watermark.
Use media you are entitled to process
Choose videos that you own or have permission to use. You remain responsible for the media you process and how you use or share the resulting files. Selecting a video does not transfer ownership of it to this project.
Keep your original video. The exported clip is a new, shortened conversion and is not a replacement for the source recording.
What this version provides
The converter accepts files up to 50 MB when their video codec is supported by the browser. It produces a silent clip between 0.5 and 3 seconds with a maximum 1920-pixel longest edge, paired with a JPEG cover. It does not promise 4K output, HDR preservation, audio, GIF conversion, or support for every browser and input codec.
The downloadable ZIP transports the paired files. The website does not automatically write them into your photo library. Importing into Photos, syncing to another device, and using a Live Photo as wallpaper are separate device operations with their own compatibility limits.
Check the output before relying on it
This MVP is provided as available, without a guarantee that every conversion or import path will work. Check the cover, video playback, and the result on your intended device. Browser capabilities and operating-system behavior can change.
The project is independent of Apple. Apple, iPhone, Photos, and Live Photos are referenced to describe compatibility and intended use, not to suggest endorsement or affiliation.
