Your video stays on your device
The current MVP converts media in your browser. It does not upload your selected video or generated image and video files to a conversion server.
Selected videos and generated files
The page reads the file you select so it can preview, trim, and convert it locally. The generated files are prepared in the browser and are saved to your device when you choose to download them. We do not keep a server-side copy of that media.
Files you download remain subject to your browser, operating-system, and backup settings. Choosing a system share destination, iCloud Drive, or another transfer service involves that destination's own handling of the files.
Website requests and cookies
This MVP has no account system, advertising scripts, third-party analytics, or application tracking cookies. Loading the website still makes ordinary requests for pages and code. The hosting infrastructure may process standard request information, such as an IP address, browser information, and request time.
Local media processing does not mean that visiting a website makes no network requests. The distinction is that your selected media is processed locally rather than sent with those requests.
Conversion information and optional feedback
A downloaded conversion-information file can contain output settings, a generated pairing identifier, a timestamp, and browser information. A locally downloaded test record can also include notes you enter. Downloading a report does not submit it to us.
If you choose to share a downloaded report through email or another service, review it first. That service handles the information you submit. Do not include private media or sensitive personal information in a public report.
